"How should a uniquely deceptive president be treated by TV networks that value the truth?" asks Brian Stelter

Trump's border address sparks extraordinary debate inside and outside TV networks
The major television networks have decided to air Donald Trump's latest reality TV spectacle, a prime time address to the nation from the Oval Office on immigration. It will be nothing more than an opportunity for him to spout more lies. In 2014, the networks refused to air President Obama's address on immigration because they claimed it was "overtly political," yet even though Trump has built an entire political propaganda campaign about the wall in rallies, campaign ads, and embroidered hats, they're willing to air his address because he has intimidated them.
My Advice for networks tonight during Trump's lie-a-thon would be to use time delay so you can check facts and mark his lies with cartoon Pinocchio head pop-up each time he tells a whopper. Your thoughts?
