Update: I mentioned earlier today that Rich Higgins, who until July was director for strategic planning at the National Security Council, wrote an official White House memo charging that a cabal of leftist “deep state” government workers, “globalists,” bankers, adherents to Islamic fundamentalism and establishment Republicans are conspiring to remove Trump and impose cultural Marxism in the United States. (You can read it below.) The memo got Higgins fired by Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, the current national security adviser, who’s gradually purging Michael Flynn’s people from the NSC.

The Washington Post just reported that Trump saw the memo after it was passed to him by his son Donald Trump Jr..

And here's the scary part: Trump was “furious” at Higgins’s removal — a sign of the conspiratorial depths Trump is already descending to.
